We can accommodate between 10 visitors each with their own room and up to around 21 with sharing, and there is space for camping on the land, which we use occasionally. Individual guests are normally self-catering, unless attending a retreat, Exploring Community weekend or Working Saturday when meals are provided and we eat together. Groups coming to stay can be catered (by arrangement) or self-catering.
We are in beautiful surroundings with hill and riverside walks, and manage over 10 acres of reclaimed land including fruit and vegetable growing areas, woodland, a meadow and wetland. We have a well-stocked library and there is Wi-Fi in most of the house.
When we are not holding our own events or having a Closed period or weekend, we welcome individuals and groups for short and longer stays. We have quite a busy schedule at times so inquiring early is advised.
We invite visitors’ involvement in the life of the community, including our Quaker worship, currently at 8-8.30 a.m. and 8.30-9 p.m. If you would like to share in our work – indoor or outdoor – then please let us know in advance so we can arrange something suitable!
